Company
Our 15 software developers form solid team, are located in one comfortable office and therefore communicate freely and produce code components that fit together extremely well. While software development is our priority direction and makes largest input in our turnover, we also provide consulting, network design and implementation services, complex network equipment (Cisco Systems, Avaya) tuning and maintenance, network accouting and billing solutions. Content management system
We develop and maintain our own CMS, called A-Real CMS (Russian federation patent pending), used in over 40 Internet and Intranet projects, including large corporate portals. The CMS is in fact much larger than what is ususally called CMS. It is also our development framework and is highly flexible, allowing us to create simple sites and complex Intrenet/Internet solutions on one platform with heavy reuse of components. Unfortunately at present the system is only available in Russian, but the localisation work in in progress and I will senf you annotated screenshots at demand.
Work attitude
One of our main competitive advantages is sound system of work, which includes development methodology, project management and tracking, reporting and Internet communications with our clients. We use day-to-day planning, internal discussion using MediaWiki, available to our clients, where they can make their own inputs to influence the development project. The same tool (alternatively - web forum) is used for daily progress reporting to the customer. If necessary, we organize or participate in conference calls with customer over Internet or telephone.
We routinely use code versioning system with central repository and daily on- and offsite backups. The corporate network is protected with Cisco PIX firewall.
